We had a wonderful rainstorm last night. There were lots of lightning and thunder to go with it. At one point it was hailing too.
The kids enjoyed playing in the rain and getting soaked.
Our backyard had a lot of flooding that left a lot of standing water and mud in the morning.
We were even able to enjoy a double rainbow. What a sight. Wish I could have gotten a picture of the entire thing.
There was a lot of very close lightning that blew out two transformers resulting in a power outage that lasted for several hours. The kids camped out in the living room and told stories by lantern light. Power finally came back on around 12:30am.

We were in Carson for a baseball game and didn't get any rain- just the wind. As we were driving home, Dayton looked like a ghost town. Luckily Barry had a flashlight in his truck we used to get inside and get candles lit.
