Colton was sick on Mother's Day with the fever and cough that has been going around so the kids and I stayed home from church. I would have sent Megan but she wanted to be home with her mom. How sweet. I got the Mother's Day treatment: breakfast in bed, a back rub, and a foot rub. Megan's gift was a coupon book with things she will do to help me around the house and Jayce made me a picture collage of the kids and me that said "I love mom".
When Blake got home from church, we went to Grandma Georgia and Papa Dave's house for dinner.
We are going to have a family music recital in a few weeks. Megan and Nick are going to practice the same songs to play a few duets for the family and Mom and I are teaching ourselves so we will play something too.
After they played piano then we got out the family band box and we all joined in. The kids always enjoy that.
It was a pretty quiet day without Katy, Teri and Josh at Mom's. They all moved out of state in the last few months. We had fun though.
