A lot of rain this week

Sunday we came home from church to more thunder lightening, rain and even hail the size of dimes and nickels. I made the kids stay in this time and watch from the door. Megan sat and observed the rain for a good 30 minutes and wrote a two page paper about the rain and thunder storm. She likes to write. We have been getting rain every day all week long which is very unusual for this area. We're not complaining and are even taking advantage of not having to water the lawn an garden. The rain has been making things difficult for Megan. Her end of season soccer pizza party was cancelled due to the rain as was her 2nd grade at school beach party. Megan only has 2 more days of school and then we will go to the real beach at Lake Tahoe (if it's not raining). Weather man said it is snowing in the mountains. Not sure how long this will last.
